In case you haven't seen it, Indiewire has posted their
FALL FESTIVAL WISHLIST and for some reason they neglected to include
Lauren Is Missing! Jokes aside, this list is pretty amazing. And humbling. We're submitting to these festivals and when you see a list like this, it really shows just how low on the totem pole you as a no-name micro-budget indie trying to get into one of the top festivals. So yeah, great looking films, but fuck 'em all the same.
In other anticipated movie news, you can see my star turn right now in Lynn Shelton's new film,
Your Sister's Sister! I'm pretty sure it's playing most major cities (Seattle, New York, LA, Houston...), and you'll be really happy you got to check it out. It's a really great, touching film and when I'm on screen you can say "I know that guy" to the annoyed person sitting next to you.
